CEHO current projects;
1. Chibolya Education Support Project.
This program is aimed at helping orphans and vulnurable children with school requisites and scholastic materials to enable them attend school.So far 200 oprhans have been supported.
We do this by ;
Paying for their school fees,uniforms,books and other supplies needed to attend school.We advocate for the rights of children to education.
2.Chibolya School Building Project.
This project seeks to seal the gap felt by poor children who cannot be given places in government schools due to high competitions,non availability of space as a result of increased number of orphans.We do this by building a school for them to learn in a very conducive enviromnent.The school will be competed by December,2011 and due to open in January,2012.
3.OVC Social Economic & Support project
This program was designed to help very poor and acute children who cannot afford basic necessities for their daily living.We do this by providing basic needed materials such as blankets,clothes,shoes, and food etc. To-date,more than 250 children have benefited to this program.
4.Chibolya School Feeding Program.
Chibolya is a very poor village with many children toiling in poverty and hunger.We help children by giving them food and meals at the school to help them gain courage for attending school for a better futures. To-date,200 children are benefiting for this program.Our efforts are made possible by our partners Flip-flop foundation who provides us with food for the children.
This is aimed also at reducing the possible diseases such as malnutrition,kwasiorka which kills children under the age of ten.
